On 1st August 2026, I had the privilege of attending the Indian Women Community (IWC) networking event in Kolkata, beautifully organized by Shreen Immam and Indrani Ganguli. The gathering was graced by special guest Tarunjyoti Tewari, with several NGO representatives and media channels also present.
Around 40 inspiring women joined the session, each radiating excitement as they shared their journeys. Some were entrepreneurs, others ran garment businesses, while a few showcased their ventures in jewelry.
What stood out was the collective energy—every participant was married, yet they carved out time to invest in their own recognition and growth. It was a powerful reminder that self-made success begins with courage, discipline, and the willingness to step forward.
Hats off to all these women who are not just balancing responsibilities but also striving to build their own identities. The event was more than networking—it was a celebration of empowerment, resilience, and the spirit of self-reliance.
